Today is all about forever. Have you thought about forever? How long is forever? Is forever more than a span of lifetime?

Our lives are not forever; we live and die no matter what we do to prolong the aging process: diets; work outs, surgeries. We still die. The Bible says we will die:

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,
Hebrews 9:27 (ESV)

So nothing is forever; nothing lasts forever; for example: your money will not last, food will not last, cars will not last, clothes and etc.

But there is good news: Something does last forever; check out what the Bible says:

For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalms 100:5 (ESV)

The Bible says that the Lord is good and His love endures forever… and then it says His faithfulness continues to all generations…

That should give us hope; if we know Him as our Lord and Savior we know that He will always love us no matter what. We know that He is faithful and will be after we pass on through the generations after us. What a mighty God we serve.

When we die as son or daughter of God; we will live forever with Him. I like that don’t you?

Everything we have now or do now is temporary but if we are saved we have eternal life. That is all that matters. It is forever.

Every Knee

I just wanted to share this verse today:

It is written:

“ ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,

‘every knee will bow before me;

every tongue will confess to God.’ ” (Romans 14:11 NIV84)

Do you believe this? Notice God says every knee not some but every.

So whether you are saved or not you will bow before God. Are you ready?

I pray you know Him as you Lord and Savior; as your redeemer and Father.

Ask Him into your heart; confess you are a sinner and believe He died for you and was resurrected for you.

If you do that you are now a child of God and my spiritual brother or sister.

Get into a local church and do life together with fellow believers.

Welcome to the Family of God!

Keep it real
